Yestetday better night, better day

Yesterday, after waking from a better night, she had an overall better day. Seems like the two doses of LASIK she got the day before took off enough fluids that she was able to breathe better. Dr. Hoda came in and told her that she was doing well enough that if she continued to improve she would maybe be able to come home on Sunday.

As of last night at midnight she passed the 48 hour mark of not having a fever. She ate some yestetday, including cereal for breakfast,  wheat bread sliced hard boiled egg with mayonnaise sandwich.

Last night was date night,  I brought in pizza, garlic bread and macaroni with butter and salt on for her dinner. She did eat several bites of pizza and some of the macaroni with butter and salt but not any of the garlic bread. We spent the rest of the date  tonight watching the Utah-Cal game on television. I left about 9:30 and she fell asleep about 10:30, she awoke later to find the game over. I watched the rest at home and gave her the score this morning.

Earlier in the evening we took her down the hall and around the corner and back for a short walk which pretty much exhausted her. It was harder to breathe after that, she said she wasn't going to do that again.......

Diane is very thankful for any well wishes, even if she is not able to respond to all of them.
