Addendum: scary trauma

These events occurred between 7 and  8:30 pm. I have never been present for a trauma. These are the texts I sent the kids:

"She is having an issue, shivering/shaking, labored breathing, high blood pressure, above 38.2-went quick high temp. Took blood cultures.  It all happened really quick as she had just gone to the bathroom.

Did an ekg, now doing a chest xray now. Gave her some meds to slow down and stop the shakes. Demoral, benedryl & hydrocortisone. Weened her from some of the oxygen. Temp is at 38.4. She was tacking. She does not want to go to icu, they came and did an evaluation, but not taking her at present.

It was so sudden! Seems to be mostly under control now.

Room nurse count went instantly to 8 plus ekg and xray techs.  Now it is back just to me and mom. She is drowsy.

Is anyone available to help give her a blessing?"

Hopefully this will be the last event of the evening. Stephen came right up and helped give her a blessing.  She had calmed and cooled since, even ate some canned Mandarin oranges and sprite. I'm grateful,  thanks Heavenly Father, what else can I say?

Diane is very thankful for any well wishes, even if she is not able to respond to all of them.
