Good news day and nausea begins

Today is the third day of this chemo session. Tomorrow will be half way through. Nausea is setting in again and eating is getting more difficult, seems to be the norm. On the other hand, the blood test results came back today and the nurse was so excited and said she had to go talk to a Dr. Diane's numbers are high enough, even with the chemo,  that she can stop taking the antibiotics. Her white blood count is rising.  Her red blood count and hematicrit are both slightly lower-that is what the chemo does, but holding pretty good. The platelets count is up as are the neutrophils  (this is very good) these are the power houses of the white blood cells! Her bones have been hurting of late and that is a sign that the neutrophils (at 1000 now) are building. She says she can live with the pain as long as it means progress.

Diane is very thankful for any well wishes, even if she is not able to respond to all of them.
