"It's great to be home",she says.
Today and the next three days we go into the hospital for out patient chemo and medication. One medication which continues to fight the fungal infection, so far denied by the insurance company, will also be administered at the hospital during those visits. We checked at our pharmacy last night and our copay would have been $2572.00 or without insurance participation would be $7000.00 for a months supply. That is almost impossible to believe, let alone be reality! We hope some other medication can be identified that will do nearly the same treatment. There is one other they have mentioned, but the debate goes on between the doctors and the insurance company. We'll let you know how that turns out when we know. For now, we'll get some rest....

Diane is very thankful for any well wishes, even if she is not able to respond to all of them.
