Day 32, more good numbers

It's been a month ago today that we came to take up residency at east 8, and actually today has been the best day since then. Last night Diane was feeling pretty good, I could tell, she started cleaning up and organizing her room, window sill shelf and closet. She has been breathing much easier and the doctor thinks the lungs are sounding better. She is exercising with better breathing and less fatigue.  White blood cell count 900, neutrophils 500, platelets 36000, red cell hematocrit 28.4 %. Dr Asch came in with these counts this morning, she said it was excellent for this stage in the game and was very pleased. There is a possibility they could begin the Vidaza chemo this coming Monday. Granddaughters came this afternoon and had a movie date in the room with all kinds of treats provided by all of you good friends. They watched "Seven Brides For Seven Brothers", the girls had a fun time......

Diane is very thankful for any well wishes, even if she is not able to respond to all of them.
