Started higher dose chemo, transfusions continue

Four days ago Diane started on the heavier dose of Revlimid. It didn't really give many side effects until today when she was quite nauseated. She went to breakfast with the Relief Society presidency that she belonged to, and had a difficult time. We are hoping this is just going to be a getting used to the drug occurrence and not an ongoing symptom.

Yesterday we went back to clinic and spent about five and a half hours there getting blood tests, infusions, two  pints of red blood and two  pints of platelets, and visits with two doctors and our case coordinator. They are really great people, so caring, compassionate and ever helpful.

The docs want us to come in every couple days so they can keep a check going on vital organs, just to make sure there are no adverse effects from the oral chemo at the doses she is now getting. So, .........one day at a time.

Diane is very thankful for any well wishes, even if she is not able to respond to all of them.
