This week we thought we would have to get platelets on Thursday, so we went in for the blood test and NO, still in good range. They had us come back today, Saturday again for blood tests but NO, still in good range. Going back on Monday for clinic with doctors, we'll see about transfusions then.
Cabin fever was extreme today, so we decided to go to a late lunch if the crowds were light. We went to the Bountiful Sizzler at 2:15 pm . I talked to the manager, Garth, told him our story of needed isolation and right away he offered to do anything necessary. I had her come in and he took her right to the booth on the south west corner. There was one adult family in the north center of the west side of the dining room. They sat all the other incoming guests on the eastside of the restaurant. Clint, our server came with our waters and said he had washed his hands several times and would take care that everything was carefully prepared and clean. The meal was excellant, Diane really enjoyed being out and the Sizzler staff was most accommodating and causious. That's the first time I've tipped a server and the manager, but that was very special treatment and very much appreciated. If you go in, tell them the Jensens sent you......

Diane is very thankful for any well wishes, even if she is not able to respond to all of them.
