Day 3, new room and meet Henry

Late last night she was moved to a new room (E-805).  It is a “positive pressure” room which makes sterile breathable air and forces all other hospital air and germs out of the room.  The new room is required because the chemo is working,  reducing blasts in her blood (blasts are down from 16 percent to 2 percent)-yea; but at the same time eliminating her immune system.  Blasts in the bone marrow will come down much slower and will be tested in a couple weeks with a biopsy.  She is being treated with antibiotics due to an infection at the central line site.  She wants you to meet Henry – he goes everywhere with her, but no socks or slippers for him…

Brandon thinks his name should be Tom, for peeping, like I mean he goes everywhere with her. But Diane calls him Henry.

Diane is very thankful for any well wishes, even if she is not able to respond to all of them.
